This Gulf Coast classic might just get you dreaming of the Bayou. Shrimp is one of those great proteins to cook with, because it’s low in calories and is ready in a snap.
INGREDIENTS (serves 6):
- Nonstick Cooking Spray
- 24 medium sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup Tabasco Sauce
- ½ cup white wine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
PREPARATIONS:
- Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium high heat. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, add the shrimp to the skillet and continue to sauté with the garlic for 1 minute.
- Add the remaining ingredients and let shrimp simmer in the sauce until the shrimp are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Serve hot.
